This is a panoramic of the “District Six” museum. Despite the fact that pictures were not permitted, I was able to snap a few shots of excerpts from the writings and exhibitions within the museum. These following excerpts explain what life was like from the perspective of the natives during the time when Apartheid hit South Africa. They are interviews with survivors and historians. The no pictures rule of the museum, was to emphasize the importance of visitors needing to heed the installations and the turbulent history of District 6… better know today as Cape Town, South Africa.
